Sidewalk crew removing the forms and making cuts in the new concrete at the intersection of 4th and Maple. This pour was done on Friday. Delivering cylinders to PPI today. New concrete looks good. Also poured the first 3 bridges. Intersection of Maple and 5th street. Main crew continuing to remove the old sidewalk on Maple south of the school. Sidewalk crew getting forms set up down near the pool for a concrete pour tomorrow.

Maple & 4th Street intersection ready for concrete. Main crew working on digging up existing sidewalk down near the pool.  Section on Maple Avenue ready for concrete. Job board inspection completed. Replacing the pole that was accidentally hit and damaged by the construction crew. The concrete plant informed us that they would not be able to get us concrete today and it has canceled our pour. They will pour tomorrow and collect their own cylinders.

Getting forms set up just south of 5th Street. Forms are ready to go north of 5th Street. Forms are ready to go on the far north end of the project. These two spots were skipped due to soft soil. Compaction is good to go now. Pour is underway on the north end. Guys continue to pour working their way south down Maple Avenue. Just north of 5th street now. Wrapping it up. Forms are set and base compacted for today’s concrete pour. Sidewalk installed earlier in the week still blanketed. Concrete tested out good and the pour is underway. Guys have the truncated domes in and are smoothing out the surface. The pour is complete and all went well. The main crew has removed more existing sidewalk today as well as compacted the base. Guys finishing up smoothing out the surface of the new sidewalk. Another view of our next section that will be replaced.
